Diseases in trees can be deadly because of how quickly they can progress.
Tree diseases are illnesses in trees caused by bacteria, fungi, and environmental stresses. Potential factors include broken branches, pollution, flooding, extreme temperatures, and drought.
Although trees have the ability to naturally heal, there are many times where diseases can spread and surpass a tree's ability to survive.
In some cases, treatments such as fungicides, bactericides, and other control forms may be applied through injections, spraying, or soil drenches. The goal of applications is to control diseases, and should not be confused with a cure.
Call one of our Arborists right away when you begin to see evidence of a disease in your tree. If left untreated, damage will grow to the point of no return.
